Its the end of the year. 2016 is almost over and the new year is about to become a reality. Now is the time some people make resolutions for many different reasons and they spend time planning what is going to come in the next year. what is it you want to happen in the next year? Of course I am going to tell you to travel. Not because of my profession but because I love to hear what people do and what they find when they travel.
I keep a Pinterest page that has little nuggets of information about different areas of the world. It really is a good resource to begin your interest in traveling to a specific destination. I don’t recommend taking the information as completely accurate but it is a good start. Always take the effort to do your own research for information to verify what you find on the internet.
My Fiancee and I spend plenty of time planning our adventures. The next big adventure is of course our wedding. We are getting married on a Princess Cruise to Alaska. She always wanted to get married on a cruise and I wasn’t going to say no. Being a Travel Agent does not mean that I get stellar deals on travel. I have to save and plan just like everyone else. My big advantage is I work in this industry and therefore I have experience in finding those deals that match what I am looking for. When you are planning your Adventure take the time to research it to the point of ridiculousness. You will begin to see not only patterns but the little gems of deals that are out there.

For our honeymoon we are going to Walt Disney World and let me tell you I have a shelf devoted to Walt Disney World and Orlando Attraction Books. The shelf changes often as new attractions arrive and old attractions are retired. I read a good amount of blogs and web content that I find relevant to what I am looking for. Just for fun I am planning to do what is called Disney Bounding. Mostly ladies do it but a few guys do it as well. Its coming up with a themed outfit that represents a Disney Character or someone related to a Disney franchise.
Its amazing what crazy ideas you find when you spend as much time researching travel as I do. I think the worst part about being a travel agent is finding so many wonderful places to go that you know you just do not have enough time to visit all of them. That is why I love my clients to tell me about where they go on their adventures. It allows me to learn about the places they travel. One of the agents I work with specializes in trips to Mt. Everest and Base camp. Let me tell you that the stories I hear about those adventures are truly amazing.
